A world where demons rule the continent.

I was thrust into the game Reverse Dungeon, where survival depends on mastering “Dungeon Defense.”

And I became the most useless character: Prince Ian.

As Jung Yiwon, a seasoned veteran of the game, I must gather 4-star heroes at all costs to defend the dungeon.

But one day, I encounter a character who doesn’t exist in the game: The 5-star hero, Holy Knight Keith.

“You follow the will of the gods. It is an honor to meet you here.”

Keith? He’s not supposed to appear in Ian’s storyline. After all, Keith is supposed to be a playable character like Ian.

“Wait, is he really here? Does that mean I can recruit other playable characters too?”

Excited by the possibility of discovering a hidden route, the game veteran Ian tries to recruit Keith. But things don’t go as planned.

“Is it truly your will to protect the traitor’s kin?”

Keith’s sword presses against Ian’s throat as his hostile eyes pierce him.

Their first encounter is a disaster.

Yet their relationship begins to develop in unexpected ways…
