Reading Turning and finding kishiar, has raised my standards to an absurd level, to the point that whenever I read any other bl novel, manhwa, or even danmei, if the ml is any bit of a scum, the first thought that comes to me is that Kishiar would have never done that. Even I am intrigued by this. I don't know how will I find someone with these standards 😭
Me when the mc is being a wuss or makes a mistake going like 'Well Yuder wouldn't have done that he would've done a way better job' like my standards have become too high😭

i've first seen this novel in twitter but i didn't think much of it (as i'm still reading multiple other novels, BL and non-BLs), but now i'm INFINITELY glad that i picked it up and read it alongside my the other novels i'm reading!!! it's nice to see a pairing that's very mature when it comes to communication and opening up, as well growing from their mistakes and applying it in real time as the story progresses. i love a good slowburn, but it's a nice change of pace to see a pairing that tackles and explores their relationship like this❤️

في البداية، شعرتُ بالرهبة من طول رواية "التحول". عادةً ما أفضل القصص القصيرة، لكن شيئًا ما في فكرتها الأساسية أثار فضولي. منذ الفصل الأول، انجذبتُ إلى عالمها وإلى العلاقة المعقدة بين يودر وكيشيار. إنها قصة تتطلب الصبر، لكن سرعان ما يتضح أنها ستكون رحلة رائعة.
ما الذي ينجح بشكل جيد
تطور الشخصيات مذهل. يودر، الشخصية الرئيسية، هادئ وحذر، ونموه خلال القصة آسر. أُقدّر بشكل خاص تأثير ماضيه النفسي الملموس، الذي يُشكّل قراراته وأفعاله في الحاضر. كيشيار، الشخصية الرئيسية، متطور بنفس القدر. إنه ساحر ومسؤول، ولكنه يتمتع أيضًا بجانب مرح يجعله محبوبًا للغاية.
تُعدّ قصة الحبّ المتطوّرة ببطء من أبرز جوانب الرواية. فهي لا تقتصر على العلاقة الجسدية فحسب، بل تتعدّاها إلى بناء الثقة والاحترام والتفاهم العميق بين شخصين. يُبدع الكاتب في خلق التوتر والتناغم بين الشخصيات، ما يجعل كلّ تفاعل بينهما ذا مغزى. كما وجدتُ نفسي منجذبًا إلى الشخصيات الثانوية، التي لكلّ منها قصّتها الفريدة التي تُساهم في إثراء السرد العام. الحبكة معقّدة وجذّابة، زاخرة بالألغاز والمؤامرات السياسية والحركة. بناء العالم الروائي غامر، وقد أعجبتني طريقة دمج عناصر عالم الأوميغا دون أن تُطغى على القصة الرئيسية.
مجالات مثيرة للقلق
لن يُناسب بطء وتيرة الأحداث الجميع. فالقبلة الأولى لا تحدث إلا في الفصل 200، والمشاهد الأكثر حميمية تأتي في وقت لاحق. قد يُحبط هذا القراء المهتمين بالجانب الرومانسي بالدرجة الأولى. كما قد يجد بعض القراء أن نظام القوى يفتقر إلى التفاصيل.

turning is genuinly the second best webnovel ive ever read (the first being the hunter wants to live quietly), and i love it so much. im nearly done the free chapters, and i wish i could buy the chapters but im not living in the us...

I started this series with the manga and I got obsessed with the story structure cus the universe that the author created is so detailed. I avoided the web novel for so long cus of how long it was and that was my mistake cus the web novel is sooooo much more detailed and now I can’t stop reading it.
