Shōgo Kinugasa
Shōgo Kinugasa (衣きぬ笠がさ 彰しょう梧ご, Kinugasa Shōgo), officially romanized as Syougo Kinugasa, is a Japanese game scenario writer and novelist. Born in November, he is said to be primarily based in Fukuoka. He is the creator of the Yōkoso Jitsuryoku Shijō Shugi no Kyōshitsu e series. Shōgo Kinugasa is his pen-name based on Sachio Kinugasa.
Biography
Kinugasa, who aspired to enter the PC gaming industry, came across a job listing for AkabeiSoft2 in some media. Impressed by the opening of "Tamayura," he decided to apply and was hired as a scenario writer.
Assigned the scenario for "Kon'na Ko ga Itara Boku wa Mou...!!" (2006, AkabeiSoft2), Kinugasa faced challenges as he had no prior experience in writing. However, through repeated revisions, he gradually improved. Despite initially struggling with comedy, "Kon'na Ko" turned out to be a humorous work, leading Kinugasa to develop a vague confidence that perhaps he was suited for it.
In 2008, he collaborated with the illustrator Tomoseshunsaku on "Akatsuki no Goei".
In 2010, he took on the role of director for the first time in "Akatsuki no Goei ~Tsumibukaki Shūmatsuron".
In 2011, he co-founded game developer studio "Tigre Soft" with Tomose.
From July 2012 to March 2014, "Koakuma Teeri to Kyūseishu!?" was published.
In May 2013, "Reminiscence" was released.
From May 2015, "Yōkoso Jitsuryoku Shijō Shugi no Kyōshitsu e" was serialized, and from January 2020, it continued as "Yōkoso Jitsuryoku Shijō Shugi no Kyōshitsu e: 2nd Year".
In July 2019, the game "Ryūsei World Actor" was released.
