It’s been three years since I transmigrated.

A time that could be considered either short or long, depending on your perspective.

I wandered through this world I was suddenly thrown into.

*“Maybe if I wait a little longer, I’ll go back…?”*

At first, I had hope, but in the end, I had no choice but to accept reality.

The events of the original story were approaching fast.

Yes, that was it.

Being transmigrated is cold.
So cold, it’s enough to freeze you to death.

*I liked games, but I never wanted my life to become one.*

The overwhelming realization hit me, and I couldn’t suppress the sigh that escaped.

Standing still, massaging my temples, I saw a flash of blonde hair in the mirror.

“…”

I silently stared at my reflection.

Soft, shimmering blonde hair, half-closed eyelids, and a mischievous smile that made me look sly.

The typical appearance of a “narrow-eyed character.”

*Yuda Snaykers.*

That was the name of the body I found myself in.

Of all the people I could have transmigrated into, it had to be him.

The final boss in every route, the mastermind pulling the strings, and the traitor who always betrayed the protagonist’s party.

He was the one responsible for leading every ending to ruin.

I had pressed the play button 1,943 times trying to defeat this bastard.

I can’t even begin to count how many times I faced defeat.

Even when I miraculously beat him on the last try, he immediately dragged me back in without mercy.

I didn’t even get to see the ending I had longed for. Damn it.

“Haha… not exactly a pleasant feeling.”

I had intended to curse, but what came out was this ridiculous, formal tone.

Even my voice was unnervingly calm.

It was hard to believe this was the reaction of someone truly enraged.

All of it was thanks to this cursed body.

*Ding!*

[The trait ‘Smiling Mask’ has activated.]
[No matter the situation, you will remain calm and composed. You will not lose your dignity, and your inner emotions will not show on the surface.]

The familiar blue screen appeared before my eyes.

It was the status window, the same UI I had seen in the game.

I let out a soft hum, staring at the text. Of course, thanks to the trait, it turned into a smug hum paired with a lazy smile.

*'Trait: Smiling Mask.'*

Always maintaining a relaxed smile, exuding a devious aura.

They must have added this to emphasize the narrow-eyed character’s vibe.

Any undignified actions were automatically censored, and anything that went against the character’s traits was suppressed. Just like now.

“Goodness me.”
= Shit.

“Oh dear.”
= This is crap.

“Hm, this is unbelievable.”
= What the hell is this messed-up situation?

It was something like that.

Even the odd polite speech mixed in my words was part of this trait.

Not only had I transmigrated into the final boss, but I couldn’t even curse freely.

*This is so unfair.*

I couldn’t call shit “shit” or damn something properly.

This must be what Hong Gil-dong, the hero who couldn’t call his father “father,” must have felt like.

I internally shed a tear of frustration.

Suppressing my irritation, I adjusted my clothes, when a voice called from beyond the door.

*“Young Master, it’s time to go.”*

It was one of the servants.

I gave a vague signal that I understood and finished getting ready.

Today was a special day.

It was the day I finally left the Snaykers estate, where I had spent the past three years, to head for the academy.

I’d spent those years living on edge, always watching my step.

A mansion that didn’t feel like a place for humans.

It was like a desert under a cold night—chilling, dark, and lonely.

Today was the day I finally left this cursed house for the academy, a place full of hope.

*Well… even though I say that, at least I transmigrated into the child of a noble family.*

If I had ended up in the body of a street beggar or a slave, I wouldn’t have lasted long.

Though that didn’t mean I was happy to be in Yuda’s body either.

Shaking off my idle thoughts, I walked towards the carriage waiting for me.

“Please travel safely.”

The butler gave me a stiff farewell.

There wasn’t a hint of affection in his mechanical bow. It was entirely colorless.

I stood still, quietly observing him.

Once I leave for the academy, I won’t be back for at least three years.

And yet, there wasn’t a shred of concern or sadness in his demeanor.

It was the same with the other servants.

No one cared enough to send me off warmly.

*…Even the count didn’t bother to come out.*

This mansion was unusually cold.

The servants were devoid of warmth.

Even as their only child was leaving, the count didn’t appear to see me off.

It was a harsh place.

Growing up in such an environment, there was no way Yuda could have turned out normal.

Maybe Yuda had his own story after all.

Clicking my tongue softly, I turned my gaze away.

“Well then, I’ll be off.”

Not that it mattered to me.

The reason why the final boss wanted to destroy the world? I couldn’t care less.

Cold, indifferent gazes followed me.

It was as if they were embodying winter itself.

But I was used to this frostiness, so I calmly brushed it off and got into the carriage.

*'The World Through the Little Prince’s Eyes.'*

Or abbreviated as *Obose*.

It was the game that had once swept the globe and the very world I had transmigrated into.

It was considered the top-tier action RPG, unrivaled in its genre.

With its outstanding gameplay, stunning visuals, and attractive female characters, it had plenty of charm.

But what was most praised was the story.

It was a fantastical reinterpretation of the familiar tale of *The Little Prince*.

That unique setting was what had drawn me to the original game in the first place.

*What’s this…? The Little Prince?*

*Everyone says it’s fun. Should I try it for fun?*

I had no idea back then.

That I would end up a game addict, uploading guide videos online, searching for hidden endings like a madman, and eventually getting transmigrated into the game.

If I could go back in time, I would’ve clicked that refund button without hesitation.

But there was no undoing what was done.

“What a pity.”
= Life sucks.

I muttered to myself, shaking off the stray thoughts.

In front of me stood a massive gate.

It seemed I had arrived at my destination while I was lost in thought.

I scanned my surroundings.

Tall walls, beautifully adorned pathways, and grand buildings.

Taking in the scenery, it all started to feel real.

The very scenes I had only seen through a screen were now unfolding before my eyes.

*Gallimar Academy.*

The original story takes place here.

The story revolves around the daily life and events at this academy.

A hint of excitement welled up within me.

It was hard not to feel something stir in my chest.

Even though transmigration was a harsh reality, I was still a huge fan of *The World Through the Little Prince’s Eyes.*

It was only natural I’d be drawn to these little things.

“Haha… it’s even more impressive than I imagined.”

The continent’s finest educational institution.

It was as grand as its reputation suggested.

The academy was so vast it was practically a small city.

Recalling the descriptions from the game’s lore, I walked on.

Near the front gate, a crowd had gathered.

It seemed like many had come for today’s entrance exam.

I quietly stood and listened.

“So, how do you think this year’s entrance exam will go?”
“I’m confident, of course!”
“Hm… there are a lot of competitors this time.”
“Yeah, no kidding. There are so many noble kids here—it’s going to be tough.”
“I’m hungry!”

The children were all buzzing with chatter.

Half worried, half excited.

The scene was filled with a warm, lively energy.

Maybe it was because I had spent so much time in that bleak mansion, but just hearing their conversation brought me a strange sense of comfort.

*This… this is what it’s like to live among people.*

A soft smile curled my lips.

Though, thanks to my trait, it probably looked like a dangerous, devious smirk. But I didn’t care.

While I was busy killing time like that…

*“Do you even realize whose path you’ve blocked?!”*
*“A mere commoner girl dares…!”*

A commotion reached my ears.

An irritated voice echoed through the air.

Turning my head toward the source, I saw a crowd gathering.

There, a girl had fallen to the ground.

*“I-I’m sorry… I wasn’t paying attention and accidentally bumped into you.”*

It seemed like trouble had found her.

From what I could gather, this girl had accidentally collided with someone important.

*“If young master had been injured, what would you have done?!”*
*“I’m sorry… sniff…”*

Clearly, the one who was hurt in the collision was the girl.

She was the one on the ground, the one with injuries, and the one fighting back tears.

But when did spoiled brats ever care about that?

They were just picking a fight because they felt like it.

I scratched my head, unamused.

It was

best to stay out of trouble like this.

I didn’t need any annoying events cropping up.

But just as I was about to turn away, I caught a glimpse of the girl’s face.

“…Huh?”

Long pink hair that reached her waist.

Sparkling green eyes, wet with tears.

A cute face resembling that of a puppy, with a slender, toned figure.

I knew this character.

“Rezia Pylritz…?”

Rezia Pylritz.

The protagonist of *The World Through the Little Prince’s Eyes* and the central figure driving the story.

One of the most important characters in the game.

Her unique outfit gave her away instantly.

Since her character was modeled after a “pilot” from a fairy tale, she wore distinctive gear.

A rugged jacket, old leather gloves, and a pair of flight goggles hanging around her neck.

There was only one person who dressed like that.

“This is why commoners are so inferior!”
“Ugh… I-I’m sorry…”

Before I knew it, I was already moving.

Toward the crying girl who kept bowing her head in apology.

“I-I didn’t mean to! The young master suddenly ran into me, so I…!”
“Are you blaming me now?”
“B-but… I-I was just standing still…”
“You insolent girl!”
“Eek…!”

The boy was bullying her, throwing his weight around, probably relying on the strength of his knights.

He was completely off guard.

Before he could realize it, I had walked up behind him and raised my foot.

“Well, excuse me!”

And then, I kicked him right in the butt.
