The events in China were broadcast live to the world via MewTube.
Chinese Travelers were shown scrambling in panic, helplessly fleeing, while the Red Revolution made its appearance.
The footage brought great shame to China.
In response, the Chinese authorities demanded compensation.
They wanted a price for it.
Logically, shouldn’t they be thankful to those who saved them from a crisis?
But logic was lost on them.
They claimed we had trespassed onto their land without permission and damaged their image, demanding an appropriate price be paid.
They gave us two choices: either become naturalized citizens of China or be labeled as international criminals.
And so, the Red Revolution banner began to wave.
Very quietly, of course.
It started with appearances at the homes of high-ranking officials in the middle of the night and escalated to exposing evidence of corruption.
Their dirty secrets were being revealed through various methods, leaving them with suspicion but no tangible proof.
Ultimately, they proposed a covert negotiation.
“What do you want?”
The Red Revolution’s demands were simple.
**“Give us an old house, and we’ll give you a new one.”**
Since we had saved their country, we demanded they relinquish some of their territory to us.
Predictably, the negotiations fell through, and every night we continued delivering them our little “gifts.”
A week passed, and they eventually surrendered.
“So, you’re saying you’ll ‘lease’ us this land?” I asked.
“Yes, Benefactor. The land in question is considered ‘dead land,’ barren, and unfit for human habitation.”
I sighed. “Typical…”
Should I have let Beijing get overrun instead?
No, that would have led to heavy casualties.
As much as we needed land, there were lines I couldn’t cross.
But leasing?
And on top of that, they demanded vast resources as a yearly payment.
The contract alone was dozens of pages long, and after inspection from the information guild, we found numerous hidden traps.
“Are they seriously underestimating us?”
It seemed like it was time to wave the red flag.
“Prepare everything,” I ordered.
“As you wish, Benefactor.”
---
Giant monsters began waving the red flag across the continent.
Some brave Travelers tried to attack them, but they were swiftly overpowered, bound head to toe, and left behind.
They tried to protest, but there was nothing they could do.
It wasn’t long before the entire nation began to feel the tremors.
The Communist Party struggled to find a solution to this crisis.
“Let’s just give them what they want and end this!”
“What are you talking about? Are you suggesting we give away our nation’s land?!”
“That’s not what I mean! Look at this!”
He held up a document declaring that Yuna, the leader of the Red Revolution and a Korean, was actually Chinese.
“Why do you think he saved China? For the land? That doesn’t make sense. His territory on the Arcana continent is massive.”
“Then what exactly are you suggesting?!”
The official, who had been yelling and pounding his desk, was finally calmed down before the other spoke again.
“He is, in fact, Chinese.”
“Is… is that true?”
“He’s staging an elaborate ruse to deceive the world.”
A spy, or rather, perhaps even a double agent.
Otherwise, there was no reason for him to demand territory.
“Let him have what he wants. In the end, he belongs to us. What harm could it do?”
“Yes, you’re right.”
Originally, they’d intended to bind the so-called “dead land” through a “lease,” but now they reconsidered.
Perhaps they could turn him into a Chinese hero and even use his vast army of monsters to dominate the world.
Dreaming up these scenarios, they handed over the documents to the Red Revolution.
Red Revolution officials accepted the paperwork with a knowing smile.
“It seems the information guild succeeded.”
“Ugh, they changed my nationality without permission.”
“But it worked out quite favorably.”
The papers showed that we had acquired a very valuable piece of land.
It was conveniently located near the sea, which meant we could communicate with the Merfolk and easily procure various resources.
With the territory now secured, it was time to move on to the next phase.
To bring China—or rather, the “small nation”—to its knees.
“How’s the plan progressing?” I asked.
“Smoothly. They’re quite indoctrinated and tightly united, but it’s only a matter of time.”
They still didn’t grasp the true meaning of revolution.
If they had, they would have stopped the Red Revolution banner when they had the chance. Not that they could have.
As I grinned wickedly, Lara, the merchant guild leader, burst into the room.
“Help!! I need help!!!”
Her voice was filled with urgency. What could be wrong?
“What do you need?”
“I want to start trading, but I need the Red Revolution name! Can I borrow your flag?”
My friend Lara didn’t stop there; she also wanted to borrow some of my monsters.
With a bright smile, I placed a hand on her shoulder.
“So, how much are you willing to pay, dear customer?”
“Oh, don’t be stingy! Just lend it to me, we’re friends!”
“Sounds like you’re looking for a lease! Our assistant will gladly guide you.”
I assigned the Enho twins to assist Lara, then finished the discussions with my other officials.
For the sake of our historic plan.

The red flag began waving across the continent.
“Revolution!”
“Revolution!”
“Revolution!”
Using doppelgangers, who could take on human form, we incited the people and had them wave the red flag.
Revolts spread across the continent, leading to the gradual decay of the once-powerful nation.
When authorities attempted to suppress them with force, hidden monsters would appear to thwart their efforts.
As a result, our territory expanded with each passing day.
Other nations couldn’t interfere, as it was considered an internal matter.
I watched the chaos unfold with a dazed expression.
They were almost too competent.
Honestly, I hadn’t expected things to escalate to this degree, but it had grown far beyond my expectations.
With Yong-yong nestled in my arms, licking a mana stone, I stepped out onto the terrace and looked up at the sky to see the familiar message.
**[Main Scenario Quest conditions have been met.]**
**[CHAPTER 5: Protect 'Japan' from the monsters of the Otherworld.]**
**[Time remaining: 169 hours, 59 minutes, 59 seconds]**
So Japan was next.
Our territory was now ample. So, what could we gain from Japan?
As I pondered, a gryphon flew up to me.
“What’s up?”
It handed me a message. What could it be?
I opened the message and read the simple contents.
**[Mission complete.]**
Time to move on to the next stage.
China—or rather, “Small China”—had been stripped of most of its territory.
Now it was time for diplomacy.
First, we would send a warning to the entire world.
Touch the Red Revolution, and we’ll wave the flag of revolution.
If anyone wanted to know what that meant, they were welcome to test it. We delivered this message to the leaders of every nation.
Naturally, it sparked a backlash.
After all, there’s an old saying that nothing pains a man more than watching a stranger seize his land in an instant.
One of the information guild members emerged from the shadows.
“Shall we proceed?”
“We need to choose the stage first. Japan will do.”
“Understood.”
It seemed our warnings weren’t enough.
It was time to use the scenario quest.
One warning wouldn’t suffice.
We prepared to head for Japan.
**[Main Scenario Quest conditions have been met.]**
**[CHAPTER 5: Protect 'Japan' from the monsters of the Otherworld.]**
**[Time remaining: 00 hours, 00 minutes, 59 seconds]**
In China, the gate had appeared above Beijing. Now, in Japan, a massive concentration of mana began to form above Tokyo.
Were the gates targeting the capitals of each nation?
Maybe it was a blessing.
Or perhaps a curse.
In response to the Otherworld monsters’ appearance in China, Japan requested aid from around the globe, gathering numerous ranker-level players.
**[CHAPTER 4: Protect 'Japan' from the monsters of the Otherworld.]**
**[Invasion imminent.]**
As the timer ran out, the gate opened, and countless Otherworld monsters began pouring through.
Unlike in China, Japan’s ranker-level players had significantly more strength.
The monsters were swept away in an instant.
As the players held their ground, defending the city, I didn’t know whether to be happy or disappointed.
The plan was falling apart.
I couldn’t cheer for the Otherworld monsters, but offering help in this situation felt awkward.
“Is there any way around this?”
“How about this?”
