Like someone else said, the idea is pretty good but the translation is not that good. If you’ve read Chinese novels you can probably power through it and it’ll be interesting, but it is a little tough. The translation can never consistently refer to anyone by the correct gender or use quotation marks in the right places which are the biggest problems. It’ll either use an apostrophe, a dollar sign, or straight up just not quotation anything most of the time, which along with the inconsistent gender reference makes it hard to know who’s talking.
Well, he is human. But currently I do see a way of him being around for longer. It was said that without their dragon scales, dragons lives are significantly shortened. Which means that the reverse might be true. Leon, with the scale now, might be able to live a longer life, but they said that the dragon scale takes magic in order to finish forming and that’s where all of his magic is going, which means that if he is somehow able to consolidate it before he dies he might be able to live longer. The only question is how does his wife get another one, because right now her life is shortened. So I see it going one of 2 ways. 1 is both of their lives are now a similar length and they die at relatively the same time, or 2 the scale allows Leon to live longer and he will be able to live for hundreds of years with her.
