if you read the story as a parody, it's funny, for me the MC comes out of an alternate history world of the prosperous era(the game is too realistic) where it's earth and not that world before post-apocalyptic world
I said, it's refreshing this novel if you've seen mostly before the tropes it touches on being such of the world of superpowers, magical girls, isekai, the saint, HFY(humanity, fuck yeah!), etc.
since in any other case, if you haven't seen stories with HFY and/or speculative science fiction tropes and haven't seen a lot of original web previously, the story is not for you, since you don't get the references
I want to like this story, but i cant. The premis of this seemd fun and fresh, but the inventions by the main character with their backstory and worldbuilding breaks the immersion for me and ruins the believability. The writing and the story makes this feel more like childrens book more than often.
