I feel really bad for the ice princess. I kinda wish she would have followed him and not stayed :(
I want to like this story, but i cant. The premis of this seemd fun and fresh, but the inventions by the main character with their backstory and worldbuilding breaks the immersion for me and ruins the believability. The writing and the story makes this feel more like childrens book more than often.
Had to correct my mistake, i mixed up Canes and Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival. Which makes it more understandable why it didnt have such a big impact and felt brushed off.
I like story a lot. There is a really good arc with actual stakes and motivations for the MC to do well, which is rare for power fantasies. Only complaint i have is sometimes it feels very similiar to ”I was mistaken as monstrous genius actor” in some aspects of story beats and abilities. The relationship building is very satisfying but things like the different award shows feel bit lacking in impact to the story. Like how canes film festival was completely brushd off as nothing. Romance is very sweet, few suggestive chapters but nothing implicit.
The plotpoint of the system allowing him save his parents by winning gold medal made this ark so good. Clear motivation, stakes and goal which culminated so nicely here. Good writing for a power fantasy with usually no stakes.
Really good story and world building. Few spicy scenes, but they are far and few. Fully reccommend reading this.
Please fix the this and the next chapters. The names are completely wrong, pronauns and such are wrong and story makes no sense.
Around chapter 240, the writer starts to add all the chapter endings to author notes, which arent added to the chapters here. Causing quite a bit of the story missing and confusion of whats going on in the story. Please add those parts here as well :( Really enjoying this story, but missing so much story is very disruptive to reading.
Interesting premise for the story that thankfully unfolds in a very good pace. It keeps you interested and evolves around the chapter 230 to a new direction. The main character is smart and moves with intention which is very satisfying to read. There is a bonus R18 chapter around the mid point which can be skipped as it doesnt involve any story development if it isnt your cup if tea. The female protagonists are quite enjoyable with each of them having clear character arcs and story lines with statisfying stories and developments. I fully reccommend reading this.
