I think they're both realizing that there is something more between them than a conqueror-vanquished relationship. I guess this is what a double-Tsuntsun relationship looks like before they both evolve into Tsunderes.

I marvel at the author's ability to describe creative new allegories for the act of smashing.

Muen is the opposite of a social-phobe, she's a social butterfly. Is that a mistranslation or did the author goof?
