why is this mission soo elongated? feels like its going on for a month now. i wonder what is the author waiting for? he had more then enough time to escalate everything and close this mission. i cant see the reason why is this so forcefully elongated, if he just gives time for daddy to arrive, he could've just started a chapter with "3 days passed" or something. feels so pointless to write so much about this situation, while every other event was closed in 2, max 3 days
I guess this implies that all the old heroes were dragons with authorities, guess one of them, probably the tang hero had a qi sucking/manipulating authority.. if you think about it, Shin Noya knew that Yangcheon would transform into a dragon after throwing away his humanity.. plus the blood demon killed all the other dragons, I guess they were also part of those dragons.

Back when the tournament started, i had the same idea.. no matter what, his father would stop everything.. (btw the dragon wasn't originally in the plan) but then i realized again that the author writes fully to his comfort. every event will turn out in his favor because of plot armor, it was never a realistic story to begin with, that contains huge unsolvable situations.. the author just blatantly helps the mc with some drama that gets resolved in the next chapter.. like the father who should ruin everything, suddenly had to go somewhere.. i say blatantly because yangcheon wasnt even worried that his father was coming
