Not since she saw Doldol (? Dragon/child tied with yangcheon) at Lady Mi's. I'm guessing she's gonna reappear when he comes back to Henan/Martial Alliance HQ.
Towards the end of this chapter the POV changes, but with the wrong name, in the last portion it should be either Laura or Logan...
Imo it's important to set up the unit because even if he leaves the Martial Alliance, those characters might remain and set up a domino effect to cause change inside the Martial Alliance. And that would have major repercutions on the world and Yangcheon himself given that he is defining himself and his goals based his opposition, I wonder how he'd react if the Martial Alliance succeeded in purging (a significant chunk at least) of the internal corruption and hypocrisy... would he face an identity crisis? Would he be able to let be able to let go a little bit of the burdens he's carrying alone? Would he be able to open up a little and start trusting at least the people who he can see are not hypocrites and do some good in the world? Imo for those payoffs to be sweeter this kind of set up is necessary. So personaly I'm enjoying this arc. Also kinda answers the question he made of himself of why he had many loyal followers even when he is a ruthless leader and seeing that in action is fun for me. :)
He's setting up the dynamics and developing characters that are a part of Yangcheons Unit. It's been somewhat clear that he's slowly building it up for him to win over and somewhat change the Martial Alliance portion of his Unit. He's also showing instead of telling how deep the corruption and pointless politic-ing/petty infighting goes. Also setting up the downfall of one of the most important characters in the Martial Alliance, The Azure Dragon Commander, and how he's outmanouvering one of the highest ranking characters within the rules of the orthodox sect.
Hey, started reading this. Chapter 69 is doubled and 1 of them was recently submitted and seems like a new entry rather than a revision of an old chapter! Just reporting in case something is out of whack and went unoticed :).
@solee_79 This chapter has a repeated section, it seems like 2 versions of the same translated and edited portion, you might've accidentaly published both. It is the portion Yangcheon digresses about people who approach/antagonize him.
Considering he fears Lady Mi who's in fact almost a civilian and has no issues with fighting Cheonma and Gu Heebi. Also considering he acknowledges the strength and genius of Wi Seol Ah and Nagumg Bi-Ah it's not a matter "thinking women are delicate flower". It's a natural desire to protect the women he loves or at least not put them in harms way, specially considering they all died in his arms in his last life.
Honestly feeling kinda bittersweet. Happy it's progressing, nostalgic and melancholic about the innocence of the first few arcs. I agree that it was time to progress though.
